Silicon iPhone Cases

Took a new iPhone, take a new case too. The new generation is on sale in Russia for the second week, it is unusually difficult to buy Pro (here's a review!) In stores, and the iPhones themselves have become more expensive in rubles due to its global fall in all currencies. No matter how you feel about your gadgets, protection for iPhone 12 never hurts. I prefer official cases with a few exceptions. Now the choice is also small, therefore, IMHO, while it is worth taking accessories from Apple. This year the company significantly updated the line of branded cases, building it around one innovation of the device. MagSafe wireless charger, whose magnetic ring is now both inside and (sometimes) outside, for some reason does not come to Russia. But the covers have appeared, and thanks for that. I took a couple of cases from the still incomplete line of official accessories for the iPhone 12 to check: regular silicone and transparent plastic. Leather models will appear in the world later, approximately in mid-late November. What did you think of it? Overall, excellent. I am much more satisfied Silicon iPhone Cases  with one of them. Much the same was the case a year ago with cases for the iPhone 11 Pro. In Apple's advertisements, the new cases literally magnetized to the back - like a bonus of the MagSafe magnetic ring. I already thought that they work like that in the literal sense: they do not press against the body by physical pressure alone, but they magnetise. Nothing of the kind: the silicone case for iPhone 12 fits in exactly the same way as all the previous ones, and is held by pressure on the frame, not a magnet. There is no click as such, the iPhone must be directly pressed inward. When you insert your iPhone into new cases, they show an animation like this: Please note: the color of the ring and the background in it matches the shade of a particular case. Most likely, recognition is implemented through an NFC tag inside the MagSafe elements. It seems like a trifle, but it looks great. With the reshaping of the iPhone case, the silicone cases have received a full-fledged edge at the bottom and now wrap the entire case. At the bottom there are cutouts for the speakers and for the Lightning port. Moreover, the latter is very large, obviously for compatibility with connectors of different shapes and sizes. A useful moment for docks and adapters. The good news is that the “wings” at the bottom have disappeared in the case. They were the first to wear out, suffered the most from attempts to remove the accessory and therefore periodically simply crumbled or exfoliated after a few months. The inner part is fully upholstered in microfiber, including the frames. Which is good, because I've already seen how easy it is to scratch the steel frames of the iPhone 12 Pro. The buttons on the sides in the silicone case are made of the same material and painted in darker colors than the case. On the blue model, they are generally almost black. They are pressed very lightly, effortlessly and almost do not protrude, so they do not accidentally work in your pocket. New for all branded cases this year is a hard plastic ring around the camera cutout. I must say right away that it looks controversial.
