Camping is not possible, but the different guesthouses are super comfortable. The management couldn't be better and they cook the best food in Kitale. Nothing was a problem for Teresa and Ibrahim. Our room was a typical basic room with everything we needed including mosquito nets. The gardens are lush and have some interesting wildlife roaming around. A very serene place to rest, apart from being awakened by the Call to Prayer at 5:30 am. Three miles away! Teresa, who runs the guest house, is very welcoming and knowledgeable about local issues. Ibrahim is a great cook. The rooms are not luxurious, but very comfortable and clean with good hot water and moz networks. Great breakfast every morning and good brewed Kenyan coffee. It's a bit far from the main road, but a tuk-tuk or taxi will take you there. The internet works almost as well as it does anywhere in Kitale!
